Paulien & Associates, Inc. conducted space needs planning studies for selected units as part of a campus master planning process. Studies included detailed departmental space needs for the College of Arts and Letters, a benchmarking study comparing the departments within the College of Arts and Letters to departments at peer institutions, collegewide space needs analysis for the Mendoza College of Business including a proposed Executive Education Conference Center, and a study benchmarking the colleges at the University of Notre Dame against leading institutions. A separate study documented campuswide classroom utilization analysis.
During this study, Paulien & Associates met with the Deans of the College of Arts and Letters and the Mendoza College of Business several times to conduct the space needs studies and held meetings with University architects.
